1. Introduction

Stoke ("we", "our", or "us") is a personal productivity and habit-tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. By using Stoke, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your email address, display name, and the content you create (spaces, goals, habits, tasks, and challenges). We also store progress data, completion history, achievement records, and Forge Points earned through your activity.

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and name from that provider to create your account. We do not receive your password.

If you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can deliver reminders and alerts. We also collect anonymized crash and diagnostic data to fix bugs.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial data, precise location, or health records, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Stoke experience. Specifically:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely, with encrypted storage and industry-standard security practices. Access to your data is strictly controlled at the database level so that you can only access your own data and data explicitly shared with you, this is enforced technically, not just by policy.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

5. Social Features & Shared Data

Stoke includes social features. When you add a friend, they can see your display name, avatar, public achievements, activity feed items, and your chosen flame color. When you compete in a challenge, other participants can see your display name and your progress in that challenge. When you share a Space, invited members can see the content within that Space based on the role you assign them.
